Privacy Policy
Who we are. Digital Worldwide ("we"), [legal entity name], based in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. Contact: admin@digitalworldwide.ai.
What we collect
- Website visitors: the details you give our assistant (name, business, country, contact method, your message) and basic technical data (browser language, pages viewed). We do not use advertising trackers.
- Clients: account details, business information you provide to configure your AI agents (hours, prices, FAQs), billing data (processed by Stripe — we never store full card numbers), and the conversations your agents handle on your behalf.
- Your customers (end users): when your AI agents talk to your customers, their messages, contact details and requests are processed to serve them, under your instructions.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and provide the services you ask for.
- To run, secure and improve the AgentOS platform.
- To bill and support you.
- To meet legal obligations.
Legal bases (EU/UK)
Contract performance, legitimate interests (running and securing our service), consent (where you opt in), and legal obligation.
Sharing
We share data only with providers needed to deliver the service (hosting, database, billing, telephony/messaging, AI model providers), under contracts that restrict their use of it. We do not sell personal data.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data, and object to or restrict processing, by emailing admin@digitalworldwide.ai. California residents: you have the rights described in the CCPA/CPRA, including to know, delete, and opt out of sale/sharing (we do not sell or share personal data for advertising). EU/UK residents: you may also complain to your supervisory authority.
Transparency about AI
When you or your customers interact with an AI agent, it will identify itself as an AI assistant when asked and, where required, proactively. Sensitive or high-value matters are routed to a human.
International transfers
Data may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate, with appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses) for EU/UK data.
Terms of Service
- Service. Digital Worldwide provides a managed AI-workforce service (AgentOS) and digital services as described in your order or proposal.
- Plans & billing. Plans are billed monthly in advance. One-time implementation is quoted after discovery. Third-party costs (telephony, advertising, software, usage) are separate and itemized. You may cancel after the first month with effect at the end of the current billing period; no long notice period applies. Custom integrations and regulated deployments require a written agreement.
- Your responsibilities. Provide accurate business information; obtain any consents required to let AI agents communicate with your customers; review items routed to you for approval; comply with applicable law.
- Acceptable use. No unlawful, deceptive, harassing or discriminatory use; no use to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on individuals without human review.
- AI limitations. AI agents can make mistakes. You retain responsibility for decisions and communications made on your behalf; our approval controls exist to keep humans in charge of what matters.
- Intellectual property. You own your business content and data. We own the platform and templates. You receive a licence to use the platform during your subscription.
- Warranties & liability. Services are provided with reasonable skill and care. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months before the claim; we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
- Termination. Either party may terminate for material breach not cured within 30 days. On termination we will export your data on request and then delete it per the retention policy.
- Law. California law; courts of [county], California, unless mandatory local consumer law applies.
Human Escalation Policy
Every AgentOS deployment includes rules that route certain matters to a person before any action is taken or message is sent:
- Complaints, disputes, refunds and cancellations above thresholds you set
- Legal, financial, medical or other sensitive topics
- Quotes or commitments above your approval limit
- Any request the agent cannot handle confidently, or where the customer asks for a human
Approvals appear in your client workspace; nothing in those categories goes out without a human decision. You define and can change these rules at any time.
Security Overview
- Data encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest by our infrastructure providers.
- Tenant isolation enforced in the database: each client's data is separated by row-level security.
- Least-privilege access; secrets held server-side only; audit logging of key actions.
- Billing handled by Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1); we never store full card numbers.
- Incident response: we will notify affected clients without undue delay if a breach affects their data.
Data Retention
- Enquiries (website leads): 24 months, then deleted unless you become a client.
- Client account and configuration data: for the life of the subscription, then deleted 90 days after termination (export available on request).
- Agent conversations and leads: retained per your plan settings (default 24 months) so you can review history; you may request shorter retention.
- Billing records: as required by tax law (typically 7 years).
Data Processing Agreement (summary)
For clients whose customers are in the EU/UK, we act as your processor for end-customer data and you are the controller. On request we provide a DPA covering: processing only on your instructions; confidentiality; security measures; sub-processor list and notice of changes; assistance with data-subject requests and impact assessments; deletion or return of data at the end of service; and audit rights.
Accessibility Statement
We aim for WCAG 2.1 AA on our website and platform: readable typography, sufficient contrast, keyboard navigation, labelled controls, and reduced-motion support. If you encounter a barrier, email admin@digitalworldwide.ai and we will address it promptly.
Service-Level Expectations
- Platform availability target: 99.5% monthly (excluding scheduled maintenance, announced in advance).
- Support response: within one business day (Launch/Growth); priority response for Worldwide per agreement.
- Optimization cadence: monthly (Launch), weekly (Growth), as agreed (Worldwide).
Compliance Statement
Digital Worldwide supports compliance controls — human-in-the-loop approvals, consent and disclosure practices, data export and deletion, audit logs, GDPR/CCPA data-subject request handling — and configures them for your business. We do not currently claim third-party certifications (such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001). Where a client's regulated environment requires certified providers, we will say so plainly and scope the deployment accordingly.
